I didn’t post much last week. Sorry. Two bits of news for you guys that you may of missed
In case you weren’t paying attention THQ is going to be showing off it’s future game, Warhammer 40k Online, at E3 this year. I’m not a Warhammer tabletop guy at all. I don’t have the figurines or the books but whenever I see someone get excited about this on the forums by saying “Blood for the Blood God”; it gets me a little giddy.
For those of you who pay attention, Mortal Online just launched their open beta. I’m not even going to give you a link because the game is shit.
Edit: Check out the comments on Rerollz News youtube video on Mortal Online. There are some… interesting? …people out there.
Have fun.

I just got the Tera Online December Newsletter in my mailbox and I figured I’d let everyone know because you really care. I don’t think many people are following this game like SWTOR or FFXIV but it’s worth keeping your eye on.
Inside the newsletter you’ll find class videos and other dev updates. Bluehole Studios was created by many of the people that brought you Lineage II.
Other Newsletters:
Mortal Online
Warhammer put one out but I can’t seem to link it. It’s their 50th though.

Mortal Online is being developed by a small independent gaming company called Star Vault, located in Sweden. Mortal Online is described as a sandbox-like PVP game. According to their FAQ, “Mortal Online is played on PvP servers only. Your chances of success in the real-time combat are based on your skills as a player, however character skills and equipment is of course an important factor to victory as well.”

As any follower of the MMOG genre knows, one staple is the uncertainty of when your favorite game-to-be-released is actually coming out. As I read through the various community forums, I pick up a few tidbits here and there about news coming from around the interwebs. Lets take a look at how some games are progressing and what we should expect to see in 2009.
