In a press release from NCsoft detailing their 2009 Q1 Earnings Report they report that Aion has increased 34% to $34.5 million USD. This accounted as the highest increase in company sales, a close second being Lineage II coming in at 33% increase to $33.33 million USD.

NCsoft looks to see increased sales of Aion through the end of the year with the imminent release schedules in Japan, North America and Europe.

NCsoft’s CFO Jaeho Lee said, “Aion has solidified its position as a new growth force without encroaching sales of the Lineage series. Starting with its service in China in Q2, we are ready for a successful launch of this triple-A franchise in Japan, Taiwan, North America and Europe within the second half of the year.”

Look for large updates of the Lineage franchises in the coming months.
