I. I have enjoyed Champions since the day I first created my paper born character Shadowcat and I learned the joys of point manipulation.
II. I never dreamed in the eighties(late eighties 
) that drawing heroes on paper would give way to 3d computer rendered awesomeness.
III. I played another hero mulitplayer offering online only to find it lacking in the many of the comprehensive details that pulled me into Champions in the first place.
IV. Just this last year I had friends of mine asking me to “run” champions again. Our love for the game is still so strong after all these years.
V. I have waited years for this game to into being; Heroes and comic characters have always been something I never outgrew and I hope I never do.

If a qualifier of the contest is you’ve dug the site, I would have been a shoe-in, as one of the only 10 people who did.
In any case, some of these submissions kinda suck. I’m not sure what the selection process was, but I think alchohol was involved.

Reading the winners up there i think whoever was choosing the winners is on drugs, because i saw some other peoples comments and they were much more interesting then some of the stuff the “winners” up there have. You people wasted your time cause all you had to do was put jibrish to win……aaah well well done to winners who had no clue xD

It’s not that I’m upset I didn’t get chosen, it’s that the majority of those who DID get chosen didn’t even list real reasons for wanting to play the game. I wouldn’t be much help in closed beta, but it seems like these people wont be either.

Well three of the winners are from champions-online.com. It seems like anywhere I go that people just can’t run a fair contest. Yes this is my second comment and yes I’m orginally from champions-online.com.
Some people shouldn;t be able to run contests. I’m not saying this out of jealousy, I’m saying this out of obviousness. Clearly I know why I didn’t win.
I’m almost guranteeing Cryptic is on my ass for not kissing their’s so I probably wasn’t gunna win anyways but come on. I looked at a lot of posts and seemed a lot more decent than those(no offense to them). This almost seems like laziness on their part.
“Didn’t havr to me novels” well guess what. Due to the circumstance of a contest you MUST read ALL SUBMISSIONS for it to be a VALID CONTEST. You basicallly said that you didn’t read the long ones and only chose the short ones. I also know anyone can lie so yeah.

1: I’ve never been in a contreversial competition mostly because most of them are normal (and normal is far away from this site) and i never won em and who cares it’s the fun in taking part in them that keeps em going.

I’m with DualBlake on this. This Dev’s must be on crack or just incredibly lame. Mine was one of the funniest and yet they chose others that they thought were “funny”. Wow. well I’m glad I only signed up to ReRollz for the Champions Beta because I won’t be back to this website to get information from these idiot dorks.

Congrats to all the winners! I think the people who are upset have been waiting around a long time to try and get into the game. Sux not to win, but whatever. The game releases in July. I’m sure open beta will be right around the corner anyway. lol

Congrats the the 5 winners posted, I think cooperfish2’s post is awesome. The second and last ones are pretty good too, for randomness. The third and forth leave me wanting more… iconocast really only listed 4 reasons… he should have listed a 5th onomatopoeia IMO, but funny none the less. and as for Agg… profit? I don’t get it… I get the funnyness behind the Chicks dig… part but profit for number 1… is he gonna sell his beta key?

I don’t mind losing a contest, that happens all the time, but i’d like to at least see the winners’ submissions have some form of legitimacy.
Hell, someone coulda just scanned in a picture of their ass, and they woulda won a beta key, but the people who actually had reasons? Oh no, that’s not funny, they don’t deserve to be in THE TESTING PHASE.

Uhmm, if I asked someone for their address so I could come over to their house and do “the Conan thing.” throw them down, and wipe my feet on them…I would think they would interpret that as a threat. Then again, I’m not like all of you, who are so full of vitriol spewing garbage that I would translate that into a “point”. You can try and spin it anyway you want.
The real point is, you all should grow up and obviously if you can’t, refrain from entering contests in the future, whether here or anywhere else. From what I gather of all this, if you all (people who are whining and complaining) don’t get your way, you throw a tantrum. My five year old daughter is more mature than A LOT of the people posting here.
Something to note – none of the top 10 bashed another MMO in thier post at all… only had positive or random things to say. Just saying, might have disqualified if you bashed another game in any way (since this site is all about ALL MMOs…) should have stuck to why we wanted to play CO not why we DIDN’T want to play the others… I myself am guilty. Could be wrong, just noticed that though.
I didn’t see the “next page” at first either, it’s under the TOP 5 posts, before the ad banner you’ll see 1|2|3… click on 2.
It looks like a lot of people missed page 2. Out of the top 10, it was an even split between the ’serious’ entries and ones with a bit of humor thrown in.
I didn’t think people had a problem seeing the other pages, but this week I will see if I can make it stand out more for future articles.
One more thing, Cryptic had nothing to do with picking the winners of the contest.

Can someone from Rerollz please reply to this asap. I am one of the 20 winners from YOUR contest and was wondering when the winners would recieve their beta keys. I have been on IRC with Cryptic and asked about our keys and they told me that the delay was because of Rerollz in some way. They also said that YOU guys would be giving out the keys, and that Cryptic only supplies YOU guys with keys. So I ask you guys: whats going ON??
We sent the information to our contact at Cryptic, they acknowledged that it was received.
